A21 Campaign

This quarter we are focusing on helping anti human trafficking organizations so it seems fitting that we donate to one of my absolute favorite ministries, A21.

A21 is an organization I have followed since college. The work they do is absolutely amazing! A21 does not only focus on sex trafficking but forced labor as well. They believe the solution to human trafficking is through programs that focus on the 3 Rs, Reach, Recover and Restore. The 3 Rs are divided into numerous programs.

Reach programs are focused on education and include public awareness campaigns, teaching children how to defend themselves as well as an educational curriculum and presentations. Recover programs include hotlines, child advocacy centers, legal assistance, victim identification operations and equipping professionals with how to respond to trafficked victims. Lastly, Restore programs include aftercare services, freedom centers, A21 homes, accommodations and an A21 relocation service.

So, some of you are probably wondering, why donate? Well, to answer your question, this is a nonprofit organization that has expanded sense 2008 to 19 locations in 14 countries. All of these programs, cost money. And at the end of the day you don't know who your money is going to help.

Another question some of you might have, is what does this have to do with ending sexual abuse. Well, while A21 does help those with forced labor they also focus on helping victims of sexual exploitation. For now Beloved is focused specifically on females who have been sexually abused. When victims are sexually exploited they are constantly sexually abused. A part of wanting sexual abuse to end is doing something about it. If God has supplied us with the funds to help those in need why not do it? No amount is too small.

For this quarter, Beloved ministries would like to raise $200 for A21. We can't do it alone. We need your help. Of course purchasing the products would be great but we understand its not about us and if you don't want any of the products and would prefer just to donate or your unable to donate and you would rather pray that's ok to. Just ask God and obey.
